ROCKET PITCH NIGHT KANSAI 2024［OIC CONNÉCT #25］創業・成長期スタートアップ/起業家の祭典！日本最大級のピッチイベントを立命館で開催 40組の登壇者が決定

立命館 起業・事業化推進室 RIMIXです。

立命館とVenture Café Tokyoのコラボレーションで立命館大学大阪いばらきキャンパス（OIC）にて毎月1回開催している「OIC CONNÉCT」の特別回として、これまで総勢約630組の起業家と7,800人+のオーディエンスが参加したVenture Café Tokyoによる日本最大級のピッチイベント「ROCKET PITCH NIGHT」を、今年9月に関西で再び開催いたします！

2024年5月に東京で開催し、50組の起業家と参加者数1,100名以上が参加したROCKET PITCH NIGHT SPRING 2024では、登壇者NPS®89.5*を記録し、大変な好評をいただきました。過去の参加者はピッチをきっかけに、累計100億以上の資金調達（公知情報に基づくVenture Café Tokyo調べ）、グローバルアクセラレーションプログラムへの採択、プロダクトの共同開発など様々な出会いとHAPPENに繋がっています。2023年夏に関西初開催となったROCKET PITCH NIGHT KANSAI 2023では、40組の起業家が登壇、約500名が参加し、多くの挑戦者たちと支援者たちの交流が生まれました。

今回は、立命館大学大阪いばらきキャンパス（OIC）に今春開設した新棟（H棟）にて、40組の登壇者と600名以上の参加者を募り開催します。この度、全世界の多様な業界から、40組の登壇者が決定しました！

当日は、登壇者のピッチだけでなく、登壇者の展示スペースやネットワーキングを加速する仕掛けも準備しています。登壇者と参加者が直接コミュニケーションを取ることを通して、会場内での新たな繋がりや革新的なアイデアを生み出す場を創出します。

OIC CONNÉCT” is a monthly event held at Ritsumeikan University Osaka Ibaraki Campus (OIC) in collaboration between Ritsumeikan and Venture Café Tokyo. As a special edition, “ROCKET PITCH NIGHT,” one of the largest pitch events in Japan by Venture Café Tokyo, which has been attended by a total of 630 entrepreneurs and 7,800+ audience members, will be held again in Kansai in September this year!

ROCKET PITCH NIGHT SPRING 2024, which was held in Tokyo in May 2024 and attended by 50 entrepreneurs and over 1,100 participants, was extremely well received, recording an NPS® of 89.5* for speakers. The past ROCKET PITCH NIGHT SPRING 2024 has been a great success, with over 10 billion in funding raised (according to Venture Café Tokyo based on publicly available information), selection for global acceleration programs, and product joint development, among many others. ROCKET PITCH NIGHT KANSAI 2023, held for the first time in the summer of 2023 in the Kansai region, featured 40 entrepreneurs and attracted approximately 500 participants, creating a great exchange between challengers and supporters.

This year’s event will be held in the new building (Building H) opened this spring at Ritsumeikan University’s Osaka Ibaraki Campus (OIC), with 40 speakers and over 600 participants. We are pleased to announce that 40 speakers from diverse industries from all over the world have been selected!

On the day of the event, in addition to the speakers’ pitches, we are preparing an exhibition space for the speakers and a mechanism to accelerate networking. Through direct communication between the speakers and attendees, we will create a venue for new connections and innovative ideas within the venue.

ROCKET PITCH NIGHTについて｜About Rocket Pitch Night

ROCKET PITCH NIGHTは、アントレプレナーシップ領域において30年近く全米1位を誇るバブソン大学の3分・3スライドというピッチフォーマットをもとにしたイベントを日本向けにアレンジし、日本のアントレプレナーシップおよびエコシステムを活性化させるべく開始されたVenture Café Tokyoのフラッグシップイベントです。

あなたがこれからまさにアントレプレナー（起業家、スタートアップ、企業内新規事業担当者、NPO etc…）としての旅路を始めようとしていようと、あるいはすでに走り始めていようと、その旅路をより良いものにするには、将来的な投資家、共同創業者、従業員など多くの人を巻き込んでいく必要があります（あるいは、それこそが起業活動の肝といってもいいのかもしれません）。

その点を踏まえ、ROCKET PITCH NIGHTでは…

ROCKET PITCH NIGHT, inspired by a 3 minute/3 slides pitch format from Babson College, a college in the US ranked as No.1 in entrepreneurship for 30 consecutive years, is Venture Café Tokyo’s flagship event with the goal of accelerating entrepreneurial activities in Japan.

Whether you are about to start your journey as an entrepreneur (entrepreneur/intrapreneur, NPO etc.) or if you are already on your startup-journey, getting the involvement of key-people such as investors, co-founders & other employees is important and can make your journey that much better (Or in other words the essence of entrepreneurship).

With that in mind, at the ROCKET PITCH NIGHT;

OIC CONNÉCTについて｜About OIC CONNÉCT

OIC CONNÉCTは、学校法人立命館が主催し、Venture Café Tokyoが立命館大学大阪いばらきキャンパス（OIC）で開催する、誰もが無料で参加可能なイノベーション促進プログラムです。
これまでOICが培ってきた「地域に開かれたキャンパス」の特徴をさらに進化させ、大学の枠を超えた「ヒト・コト・モノがより触発しあうキャンパス」を目指す取り組みの一貫として開催していきます。
このプログラムは毎月開催することで、起業家や研究者、学生など多様な人が交流し、学び合う機会の提供を通じ、関西を中心としたイノベーション・コミュニティを創出することを目指します。多様なイノベーター達による講演やイノベーションを加速させるワークショップ等を通じて参加者は学びを得ながら、そこで得た共体験を梃子にネットワークを拡げることが出来ます。

OIC CONNÉCT is an innovation community event hosted by Ritsumeikan and operated by Venture Café, which originated in Boston and operates in 15 cities in 5 countries around the world.
The program will be held as part of efforts to further evolve the characteristics of the “campus open to the community” that OIC has cultivated to date, and to create a “campus where people, things, and products are more inspired by each other” that transcends the boundaries of the university. By holding this program monthly, we aim to create an innovation community centered in the Kansai region by providing opportunities for entrepreneurs, researchers, students, and other diverse individuals to interact and learn from each other. Through lectures by diverse innovators and workshops to accelerate innovation, participants will learn and use their shared experiences as leverage to expand their networks.

Ritsumeikan Impact-Makers Inter X (Cross) Platform (RIMIX) is a one-stop design and promotion platform for entrepreneurship and commercialization at Ritsumeikan Academy. RIMIX is a platform that connects Ritsumeikan’s practical educational programs and supports students in their efforts to solve social issues through business, up to the point of starting their own businesses. RIMIX synergizes the creation of research-based ventures, an entrepreneurship program with integrated education from elementary school to graduate school, and investment and loans from funds and other sources, and collaborates with external resources to promote grassroots innovation and create new social symbiotic value. The concept is to nurture “Impact-Makers,” people who solve social issues through business and create value for society, with the aim of realizing dynamic social change. We create new value for society by discovering, nurturing, and encouraging the ideas of the next generation of students, students, and children.
