The next OIC CONNÉCT will be held on Friday, April 4th! OIC CONNÉCT is an innovation community program organized by Ritsumeikan and Venture Café Tokyo at Ritsumeikan University Osaka Ibaraki Campus (OIC). Participation is free and open to all! We look forward to seeing you there and online.

OIC CONNÉCTとは｜What is OIC CONNÉCT?

OIC CONNÉCTは、立命館大学大阪いばらきキャンパス（OIC）で開催される、学びの機会（パネルセッション、レクチャー、ワークショップ）と繋がりの機会（ネットワーキング、展示テーブル）の組み合わせからなるイノベーション促進/交流プログラムです。多様な人が、ふらっと参加して、楽しみ、繋がり、そして新しい挑戦をしたくなるような機会の提供を通じ、関西を中心としたイノベーション・コミュニティを創出することを目指します。

このプログラムは、起業家や何か新たなチャレンジを模索する人、研究者、投資家、学生、会社員等、挑戦やイノベーションに少しでも興味があれば「誰でも」参加可能であることが特徴です（参加無料）。参加者は学びを得ながら、そこで得た共体験を梃子にネットワークを拡げることが出来ます。

OIC CONNÉCT is the innovation gathering held at Ritsumeikan University(Osaka Ibaraki Campus).
The events will differ from time to time but will include lectures, speaker panels, and breakout sessions from a diverse range of innovations and netowrking. This is a great opportunity for innovators to be inspired, discover new opportunities, and connect with innovators.

Itaru UEDA（上田 至 氏）
= Founder and Managing Director, Japan Tech Ventures Limited／Japan Tech Ventures 株式会社 代表取締役社長

After working in research and development in the electronics industry, Itaru Ueda was engaged in new business planning and development as an in-house entrepreneur. He has created several new products and businesses through open innovation and alliances with domestic and overseas startups and large companies. After that, he worked as a venture capitalist in Silicon Valley focusing on mobility. Returning to Japan, he managed a 10 billion yen CVC fund for an automobile manufacturer as a fund manager. He joined a deep-tech venture capital firm based in Silicon Valley and Hong Kong as a co-manager. He established Japan Tech Ventures to create a Japanese startup and innovation creation method that can compete globally, utilizing the knowledge he gained through global business development and venture investment. He provides management support for domestic startups and SMEs, regional development, and support for overseas startups to enter the domestic market. He holds a Master of Engineering (Electrical Engineering) and an Executive MBA.

電機業界にて、研究開発実務を経て、社内起業家として新規事業企画・開発に従事。国内外スタートアップや大企業とのオープンイノベーションやアライアンスを通じていくつもの新製品や新事業を創出。その後、シリコンバレーのモビリティーにフォーカスしたベンチャーキャピタルにて投資実務を実践。帰国後、ファンドマネージャーとして、自動車メーカーの100億円規模のCVCファンドを運用。シリコンバレー、及び、香港を拠点とするディープテック・ベンチャーキャピタルに共同経営者として参画。グローバルでの事業開発やベンチャー投資で得た知見を活かし、世界で戦える日本型のスタートアップ＆イノベーション創造手法を創造するためにJapan Tech Ventures設立。国内スタートアップ・中小企業の経営支援、地域創生、海外スタートアップの国内進出支援等を行っている。工学修士（電気工学専攻）/ 米国 Executive MBA　修了

Marisa WATANABE（渡邊 麻梨紗 氏）
= Business Development Manager Japan, University of New South Wales (UNSW Sydney)／ニューサウスウェールズ大学（UNSW Sydney）インダストリー＆イノベーション日本代表

Marisa Watanabe was born and raised in Hong Kong and California. She went to university in Switzerland and started her career in Tokyo. She has worked in hospitality, relocation and government affairs. She has also scaled and globalized a startup. After setting up the Consulate of Switzerland, she is now bridging industry research for the University of New South Wales.

香港とカリフォルニアで生まれ育ち、スイスで大学に進学後、東京でキャリアをスタート。ホスピタリティ、リロケーション、政府渉外での経験を積み、スタートアップの拡大とグローバル化にも携わる。スイス領事館の設立に貢献した後、現在はニューサウスウェールズ大学の産業研究の架け橋として活動中。

Eitan Bienstock（アイタン ビーンストック 氏）

Eitan Bienstock is an entrepreneur and multidisciplinary strategist specializing in business growth and innovation. With over 25 years of experience in founding and operating companies, consulting, venture capital investing, and accelerating startups, he has guided numerous CEOs and organizations toward sustainable expansion and breakthrough innovation. His expertise spans corporate venturing, investment strategies, and strategic partnerships, making him a sought-after advisor in today’s dynamic business landscape. Eitan’s proven track record includes funding successful startups, and his experience in both corporate and venture capital spheres—with notable roles at Intel Capital, Artesian Capital, and IAG’s Firemark Ventures—underscores his influential role in the industry. Additionally, he has played a pivotal role in driving national innovation initiatives, contributing to projects such as Everything IoT and Australia’s Federal AI Policies and Action Committee.

Joshua Flannery（ジョシュア フラネリー 氏）
= CEO, Innovation Dojo Japan

Joshua is a recognised innovation ecosystem leader in both Japan and Australia, as the co-founder and CEO of Innovation Dojo group, including operations in both countries. His experience includes leading the Japan expansion efforts for both European open innovation firm Rainmaking (later acquired by Bain & Company), and Australian SaaS company StudyLink (later acquired by Flywire). As an employee of the New South Wales government, Joshua has held the Lead director position for the largest startup hub in the Southern Hemisphere, Sydney Startup Hub, and was the first hire and penned the initial plans for the University of New South Wales startup programs, which grew to become the leading university for entrepreneurs in APAC.
Aside from managing Innovation Dojo, Joshua personally mentors science-based ventures at Osaka University, consults large Japanese corporations on startup engagement strategy participating in the J-Bridge program, and holds an Adjunct Professor role in Entrepreneurship at the Kansai University of International Studies. Joshua is recognized by METI Kinki as an Official Startup Recommender under the J-Startup Kansai initiative, is a Board Director for the Australia Japan Business Council of Victoria, and sits on the Innovation, Technology & Startups (ITS) Sub-Committee for the Australia Japan Business Cooperation Committee.

2011年に宮城県女川町に飛び込んで、「地域の社会課題解決から日本・世界をより良くすること」をミッションに次世代型のまちづくりや関係人口創出、起業支援・事業再建事業、予防医療事業など様々な社会課題解決事業を国内外のステークホルダーを巻き込んで立ち上げてきた一般社団法人VENTURE FOR JAPAN代表の小松が、ローカルで挑戦するゲストとともにローカルで事業を行う面白さ、難しさ、ローカルから世界の可能性をリアルに語り合います。

小松 洋介 氏（Yosuke KOMATSU）
= 一般社団法人VENTURE FOR JAPAN 代表理事

1982年仙台生まれ。2005年（株）リクルートへ入社。2011年の東日本大震災を機に（株）リクルートを退職し、被災地となった宮城県女川町の女川町復興連絡協議会にて、復興提言書（民間版復興計画）の作成や事業再建・起業支援を行う。2013年4月には特定非営利活動法人アスヘノキボウを設立し、代表理事。2014年4月には女川町商工会職員として、まちづくり担当を兼任。地域課題ごとに国内外のセクターを越えたチームを組成し、起業支援、経営支援、関係人口創出・移住促進、地域課題分析データ事業、地域づくりのインパクト評価、予防医療など多岐にわたる事業を行ってきた。2022年3月末にアスヘノキボウの代表理事を退任し、理事。2022年11月より「起業家志望の新卒・第二新卒が地方企業の経営者直下の事業責任者として就職する」サービスを行う、一般社団法人VENTURE FOR JAPANを設立し、代表理事として事業を推進している。

Alex Iskounen is a producer and founder of Tsukuba Indy USA (G.K.), specializing in film/TV rights strategy and packaging with U.S.-Japan partners to develop multi-year lineups. With a background in casting and media rights acquisitions, Alex balances creative industries, developing and producing films, TV projects, and international adaptations.

映画・テレビの権利戦略およびパッケージングを専門とし、日米のパートナーと連携して複数年にわたる作品ラインアップを開発する。キャスティングやメディア権利の買収に関する経験を活かし、映画やテレビプロジェクト、国際的なリメイク作品の開発・制作を手がける。

Yurie ISHIKAWA（石川 友里絵 氏）
= Coordinator, Osaka Innovation Hub／大阪イノベーションハブ コーディネーター

Yurie Ishikawa is a staff member at Osaka Innovation Hub, dedicated to fostering young talent and cultivating a global mindset. She supports innovative initiatives and helps operate the “Osaka City Startup Visa” program, assisting foreign entrepreneurs in Osaka. She strives to enhance Osaka’s startup ecosystem and global appeal.

大阪イノベーションハブのスタッフとして、若手人材の育成とグローバルマインドの醸成に取り組む。イノベーションを促進するプロジェクトを支援しながら、「大阪市スタートアップビザ」プログラムの運営にも携わり、外国人起業家の大阪進出を支援する。大阪のスタートアップエコシステムの発展と国際的な魅力向上に貢献することを目指す。

After working at the Consulate General of Japan in San Francisco, a large corporation, and a startup company, he joined the Shibuya City to create and lead the startup division. He has been building ecosystem in Shibuya especially for global entrepreneurs.

サンフランシスコ日本国総領事館、大手企業、スタートアップ企業での勤務を経て、渋谷区に参画。スタートアップ支援部門の立ち上げと運営を主導し、特にグローバル起業家のためのエコシステム構築に注力する。渋谷をスタートアップの拠点として発展させる活動を推進している。

OIC CONNÉCTは、学校法人立命館が主催し、Venture Café Tokyoが立命館大学大阪いばらきキャンパス（OIC）で開催する、誰もが無料で参加可能なイノベーション促進プログラムです。

これまでOICが培ってきた「地域に開かれたキャンパス」の特徴をさらに進化させ、大学の枠を超えた「ヒト・コト・モノがより触発しあうキャンパス」を目指す取り組みの一貫として開催していきます。

このプログラムは毎月開催することで、起業家や研究者、学生など多様な人が交流し、学び合う機会の提供を通じ、関西を中心としたイノベーション・コミュニティを創出することを目指します。多様なイノベーター達による講演やイノベーションを加速させるワークショップ等を通じて参加者は学びを得ながら、そこで得た共体験を梃子にネットワークを拡げることが出来ます。

This is an innovation acceleration program hosted by Ritsumeikan University and organized by Venture Café Tokyo at the Osaka Ibaraki Campus (OIC). Open to everyone free of charge, the program aims to further develop OIC’s long-established identity as a “campus open to the community” by evolving it into a space where “people, ideas, and resources inspire one another” beyond the boundaries of academia.

Held monthly, this program seeks to foster an innovation community centered in the Kansai region by providing opportunities for diverse individuals—entrepreneurs, researchers, and students alike—to connect, exchange ideas, and learn from each other. Through inspiring talks by various innovators and workshops designed to accelerate innovation, participants can not only gain valuable insights but also expand their networks through shared experiences.
